I wanna read that article :))) do u have any idea where u read it? :P anyway, the story is great... I love Dahlia's independence and I love the fact that she's really different from Hermione... at first when u said you're gonna create your own world, cuz you've written hg/ss too long and have developed the characters too much, I was afraid that the new stories will be like... reading about Severus and Hermione with different names... and I would've never liked it... I hated the adapted 'Love bites', cuz it was unnatural to read my favorite shower scene with other names..... but Dahlia and Aritmus are totally different... yeah, Aritmus has more common things with Snape, but I almost don't notice them and I certainly don't see Severus while I'm reading these stories... it's a totally new character :) love it, really, really love it! and I want the lemoooooooooons :)

DeChagny: You've voiced the same opinion I felt. That Severus and Hermione were just too ingrained for me to write two new major characters, and at first, they were quite like them, because there were some aspects I brought to HG/SS that were never in canon, but became a kind of canon for my fanfics. BUT . . . the wonderful thing is I had the freedom to make them more than I did with fanfic, because there were certain aspects I HAD to stick to, though I went as far out of bounds as I could. Here, I don't have that. I can have Artimus responsive and reachable and wanting connection right from the beginning, and I can have Dahlia strong and self-assured and powerful in her own right. She's not a virgin and knows her way around the bedroom. She believes in meeting her own needs unashamedly as does Artimus. She sets boundaries and won't be dictated to in anything. I'm glad you're liking these characters. I'm liking them too and they are really starting to come into their own. As to the article about strengthening your yoni, here it is: http://www.whitelotuseast.com/YoniExercises.htm Thank you so much for being honest and supportive. You've made my night. ****

I'd never heard of this particular art form before... but you've piqued my curiosity. I'm thinking about ordering a Jade Egg myself, I can't wait to read Artimus's reaction.

Loved both chapters. Thank you for not leaving us hanging. Dahlia seems to be a good equal for Artimus. I see a lot of Dahlia in me, including the form of Aikido, studious, brave, and sexually dominate. I just need to find myself a good Artimus. ;)

ok, I have to admit I held out on reading this because I didn't think I'd like it as much as some of your previous works. I know it's stupid, but I was resisting the idea of a new world and its new characters after all of your works with Severus and Hermione. I understand your need to move on as a writer, though, and am happy to report that I was wrong; I am enjoying it very much and will continue to read it as long as you add new chapters. Thanks for all the time and talent you pour into your writing... and thanks for keeping the old ones accessible for those of us who just can't let go. *grin*

reviewerette: I really appreciate this comment. Not only is it heartwarming, but it reflects my thoughts concerning writing heroes and heroines. I mean, we all loved HG/SS because of the familiar characters, even though the situations are far beyond those JKR intended. I got to thinking that if the characters and the scenarios are moving and exciting enough, one could feel connected just as much . . . all it requires is to be open enough to enjoy them and not use them as measuring sticks. Though we all measure. lol. HG/SS is hard to follow. But they don't have to be followed. Hero and Heroine stories have always been around and always been popular. It's just getting into them that's the challenge. Thank you so much for giving my characters a chance. ****

Well Ruth, if this is what you come up with I don't care how long it takes you it's worth the wait! Hey...that doesn't mean for you to push it, get writing. It was so hot, and so funny with Steede commenting all through the act. I like it that Dahlia is so strong, it makes it even sweeter when Artimus gets to dominate her. I think you've hit on something with this shoop. There should be workshops, I know alot of husbands that would send their wives.

This is shaping up very nicely. I love Dahlia's agressiveness...I think she is giving Artimus a real run for his money. Both characters are turning out to be quite likable. Steede is too funny...although I must admit, I keep hearing him as Eddie Murphy's voice of Donkey in Shrek. It works for me!

foxmom: I hate Donkey. lololol. He just annoys me so much, just his voice . . . arrrrgh! I think Steede speaks with a rather cultured, educated voice. He's quite stuck on himself. lol But PLEASE not Donkey. gack!

Hehehe. Poor Steede, doesn't know any better. If only humans were some simple as just mating to mate. ::grins:: I cant wait to hear Steede giving advise to Artimus. lol. Dahlia is going to have Artimus for the rest of her life after that scene. I need to learn some of those exercises, I do some of them but not enough to have super control. Got to work harder on that field. ;) lol. Keep up the great work, Im loving it so far. I cant wait to hear that you have finished with the novel. I want to read it already! See you around, Zachy

Foxmom: I have to agree with you...I never noticed until you mentioned it. In my head Steede does sound like Donkey (Eddie Murphy)!!! LOL. How funny, its a horse-y kind of voice. Steede might sound much better but he is still a horse. Sorry Ruth, Steede does sound like Donkey. lol :D

SuckerforROMANCE: The word "Shoop" is from a song from Salt and Pepa, though I wasn't thinking of it at the time. Basically I made it up. I thought it would be humorous and sexy for a woman to be able to control a man with her sex and thought it would be fun to have the knowledge of how to "whip" a man passed down from generation to generation in some way. Dahlia's 58 year old grandmother having a 25 year old boyfriend is proof the "shoop" works. lolol. I guess really it's my concrete way of showing that women do have "the power" when it comes to sex. Not every one does the "shoop" but technically it is possible. I think after all the fanfics with Severus screwing the hell out of Hermione, it was time for a change with my own characters. :))) Fun stuff though. You can find out about the exercises (yes they do exist) at http://www.whitelotuseast.com/YoniExercises.htm ****
